http://www.wiiallday.co.uk/Store/Nintendo-DS I have been replaced by the Nintendo DSSince the dawn of time my girlfriend disagreed with any games console action, until the Nintendo wii and Nintendo ds came along.But don’t get me wrong, she would buy me games for my xbox360 for my birthday and even got me a Nintendo DS lite. However for some reason most girls that I know hate the button bashing needed to implement and play most computer games. Thanks to Nintendo’s new concept for the gaming experience with the Wii and DS, she has turned to the dark side. Well not entirely but atleast she has become more involved in playing computer games. So Christmas just gone I decided to buy her a black Nintendo ds lite with a couple of games. I was fed up with her taking my DS and playing all day long on Tetris. Now she has completely fallen for Zelda and on her brand new black DS.Not only is she playing this non stop, she is now neglecting me!. That’s right I’m seeking attention from her and all she wants to do is concentrate on Zelda. Maybe I know what she felt like when ghost recon came out on the xbox360. So all I get now is the odd demand to get online and search for some cheats or clues to completing certain levels to the game.Non arguments yet but at least I know what to get her for presents from know on, DS games. You would think I have been replaced altogether but I’m sure she still remembers who I am. Non the less a quick shop around online I can find some awesome deals on second hand ds games. I really think the second hand game market has exploded since Christmas with credit crunch and all. The game is developed by Vicarious Visions and published by RedOctane and Activision, and was released in North America and Australia in June 2008, and in Europe in July 2008. Two versions were released in Europe, one for primarily English-speaking countries, and one for the rest of Europe, with some changes in the song list.As with other Guitar Hero games, the player attempts to follow the lead guitar portion of a rock song as note patterns scroll by on the game’s screens. Instead of the normal guitar peripheral used in other game console versions, On Tour is packaged with the "Guitar Grip", a unique four-fret controller that fits into the Game Boy Advance slot on either the Nintendo DS or DS Lite hardware. The player strums each note by dragging the stylus across the touchscreen while holding down the fret buttons. The design of the Guitar Grip and other gameplay mechanics went through many iterations by Vicarious Visions before the final design was reached. A special Guitar Duel mode against the computer or human opponent over local wifi incorporates other features of the Nintendo DS in order to remove distractions created by the opponent in order to keep playing the song.On Tour received mixed reviews from critics. Many reviews cited problems with holding the Guitar Grip in place and cramping by holding the Grip too long. While some felt the game captured the spirit of the Guitar Hero series, others felt it was more an experiment than a successful game. The game broke Activision's sales records for the DS the week of its release, and it has been announced that a sequel, Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades, will be produced.The Ds lite is the perfect Nintendo games console to play guitar hero on th emove.
